Extension and retrofit project using sustainable materials.

The existing house is dark with little connection to its surroundings so creating a strong connection to the south-facing garden was a crucial part of the design process. The use of natural timber and glass allows the proposal to be clearly articulated as a new addition to the white-rendered existing building.
