We take a deeply considered approach to our work, prioritising the use of sustainably sourced, natural materials, and selecting expertly crafted finishes. The spaces we design are filled with light, warmth and character, shaped by thoughtful detailing.
We work holistically, overseeing every part of the process — from overall vision and project management to interior design and final finishes. It’s this approach that allows us to create homes our clients love.
We’re a small, hands-on team, and our founders, Jonty and Harry, are personally involved in every project we take on. By limiting the number of homes we work on each year, we’re able to stay closely connected to every detail. Our team is made up of warm, incredibly experienced professionals, and we expect nothing less from anyone we work with. That is why any contractor or supplier we recommend comes tried and tested by us, so you can be confident you are in safe hands throughout.

Our strong track record in local approvals means we can confidently guide you through the planning process. As design develops we can provide visualisations and 3D models to bring your home to life.

We translate your approved design into a detailed technical package. This including the drawings, schedule of works and specifications explaining how the building will be constructed, finished and fitted out. This fully comprehensive work enables accurate pricing by contractors, and reduces risk of issues during construction.

We guide you towards interiors and finishes that complement and complete the whole design. With mood boards, detailed drawings, and curated samples, we’ll help you shape a home with warmth, atmosphere and character.

Our Team
Jonty Marsh
Director
BA(Hons) MA RIBA
Jonty is a Chartered British Architect. He studied at Newcastle University (BA) and Oxford School of Architecture (MA), and worked at a number of award-winning architectural practices, including Hawkins\Brown Architects, before establishing MarshKeene in 2017. Jonty now divides his time between Hampshire and London, retaining an active network in the city while enjoying a closer connection to nature.
Harry Keene
Director
BA(Hons) MA
Harry is an Architectural Designer. He studied at Newcastle University (BA) and The Royal College of Art (MA), and has extensive experience managing builds in the UK and abroad, including private residential homes and gallery projects with Maybank and Matthews Architects. Originally London-based, Harry now lives in Hampshire with his family, in a home he designed and built.
Martin Walsh
Architect
BA(Hons) MArch PGDip
Martin is a Project Architect at MarshKeene. He studied at Oxford School of Architecture (BA) and the University of Brighton (MArch). He has extensive experience across high-end residential projects and commercial work in the UK and Ireland. Detail-oriented and drawn to challenging briefs, Martin's approach is rooted in a love of design that extends well beyond the studio.
